F A Q

So, you have some questions about my Couples, Proposals, Elopements and Weddings Sessions, huh? I'm here to answer all of your burning questions and give you some helpful tips for your planning process too!

Should I include a first look in my Wedding or Elopement?

YES! YES! And um...YES! First looks are an amazing way to create more intimacy between you and your partner on your big day! Great for couples who'd prefer to say their vows in private too! AND you get more pictures to capture that special moment! It's a win-win situation. Including a first look will be a factor in pricing your elopement or wedding.

How does your pricing work?

Since every session is unique, whether you're inquiring about couples, portraits or product photography, I list the base price and once we review exactly what you want (and what you don't) we work on a price from there. Different factors such as travel + equipment costs, and the amount of photos, etc. help determine the price!

What should I wear for my Couples, Proposal and/or Elopement Session?

While you can absolutely wear whatever you'd like, you can never fail opting for Neutrals! They're clean, timeless and perfect for those nice, natural light photos! If you're looking for outfit inspo, I'll send you an outfit guide! It may help if you try to coordinate your outfits with your S.O. for the session!

Do we have to pay in full before our session?

Nope! You'll pay a retainer when you sign the Contract and the Release Form and will pay the remaining balance after you have received all of your photos! We can work on a payment plan that is suited to your financial needs!

Can I customize my Wedding, Elopement, Proposal and/or Couples session?

YES! No two couples are alike, so your session or the  shouldn't be either! Part of telling your unique story is including the things YOU want to include and nothing of what you don't. Let's create a package that's just right for you! Continue scrolling to find helpful tips, or fill out the contact form linked below.

Are you willing to travel?

Yes! While I am currently based in Los Angeles, Calif., I am willing to travel! If you are within driving distance, I will charge by the mile. If you are within flying distance (which is totally fine), I will charge you for the cost of the flight to and from the destination.

Travel costs will be included in the package price. Be sure to include that type of information in your contact form!

When will I get my photos back?

While I do try to deliver your photos as quickly as possible, the average length is 2-3 weeks, maybe longer depending on the specifics of your session. I will give you a preview of 5-10 photos within 48 hours and go from there. While I understand that waiting for your photos can be daunting, this is to ensure that the quality of my work is not rushed.

What is the best way to contact you?

The easiest way to contact me is though my email! I will usually respond within 48 hours! If all else fails (for whatever reason) you can shoot me a Direct Message in Instagram and message me through there! @lilleemonetphotography

Of course you do!

Scroll down for some helpful tips to make your session planning easier!

TIP #1: If you love those warm and bold, natural light photos,  try scheduling your session at sunrise or sunset!

Want to get those gorgeous, warm sunset photos? Try scheduling your session 30 minutes- 1 1/2 hours before sunset (depending on your package/session). This gives us a good amount of time to catch that golden glow for your session.

TIP #3: Don't know how to plan your elopement or wedding day but still want a ton of photos? Ask me for a "photograph forward" schedule on the contact form!

While some may just want photos of the ceremony and part of the reception, others want to document their whole day. If you're interested, I will send you a "photograph forward" schedule, which includes additional intimate photos like a first look, a couple's final dance and more to help get more photographs out of your day!

Tip #2: Wear neutral colors! Coordinate outfits, don't match.

Wearing neutral colors are a great way to make your photos look clean and timeless. Whites, Creams, Browns and Greys are all great options! Hopefully the color scheme on this site and give you some inspiration. If not, contact me and I'll give you an outfit guide! You can also coordinate outfits with your S.O. too!

Again, this is just a suggestion! Feel free to wear what makes YOU comfortable!

TIP #4: Include alll the details of your big day on the contact form! This can include traditions, surprises, themes and/or anything that you might find helpful to include.

I want to help capture every little detail of your special day. Including as many details as you can gives me a good understand of what I'll be working with that day!
